Daniel Falb ist Lyriker und Independent Researcher.
Seine literarische und theoretische Praxis kreist um naturalistische Metaphysik im Kontext des Denkens des Anthropozäns, um biografische Zeit und die Dynamik der Weltbevölkerung, sowie zuletzt um die Automatisierung der natürlichen Sprache.
2024-25 war Falb Stipendiat des Berliner Programms Künstlerische Forschung und Hauskünstler bei Burg Hülshoff – Center for Literature. 2025 hatte Falb die Thomas Kling-Poetikdozentur an der Universität Bonn inne. 2025-6 und 2026-7 lehrt er am Deutschen Literaturinstitut Leipzig bzw. an der Kunstakademie Münster.
Daniel Falb is a poet and independent researcher. His literary and theoretical practice revolves around naturalistic metaphysics in the context of Anthropocene thought, biographical time, and the dynamics of the world’s population, as well as, more recently, the automation of natural language.
In 2024–25, Falb was a fellow of the Berlin Program for Artistic Research and a resident artist at Burg Hülshoff – Center for Literature. In 2025, Falb held the Thomas Kling Chair of Poetics at the University of Bonn. In 2025–26 and 2026–27, he will teach at the German Literature Institute Leipzig and the Münster Academy of Fine Arts, respectively.
